- Assist the project manager in preparing the project schedule.
- Manage day‑to‑day site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and maintain the weekly construction schedule.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with consultants and clients.
- Highlight and discuss important concerns during on‑site meetings.
- Maintain a safe job site and enforce Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
- Liaise with the client regularly to discuss project status and proactively resolve problems.
- Prepare project documentation for labor, materials, equipment costs, expense submittals, field reports, safety meeting minutes, and change order requests.
- Coordinate and direct quality control inspections as required.
- Control and monitor labor, material, and equipment expenses.
- Assist in creating monthly cost forecasting summaries.
- Ensure as‑built drawings are prepared continuously during construction.
- Monitor overall procurement by administering contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and agreements to ensure scope, terms, and conditions are met.
- Manage changes in project scope, ensuring they are tracked and communicated effectively.
- Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists.
- Maintain daily time tickets, safety reports, etc.

We are looking to hire a Supervisor - Field Operations, Major Projects based out of our Edmonton branch.
- Role: Supervisor - Field Operations; must be a ticketed Electrical Journeyperson.
- Shift: available for shift work or 5/2 schedule depending on project specifics.
- Pre‑employment condition: D&A test required.
- Communicate effectively with employees and clients.
- 3–5 years’ experience in project site supervision (asset).
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
- Valid H2S, First Aid Level C CPR & AED, CSTS, CSO, TDG & WHMIS safety tickets.
- Leadership for Safety Excellence certificate.
- Construction knowledge and understanding of construction process and sequence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong team‑oriented mindset and effective collaboration in groups.
- Strong organizational abilities and problem‑solving skills.
