The operator will run machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of mass‑timber products, monitoring production to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Routine maintenance and troubleshooting are performed to keep equipment running optimally and reduce downtime. The role includes setting up and calibrating machinery for different production runs and collaborating with team members to improve efficiency and workflow. Safety protocols are followed at all times, and the work area is kept clean and organized.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical degree or certification in manufacturing preferred. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery. Basic computer skills are needed for recording production data and operating machinery interfaces.
