Performs testing on general building sites and facilities.
Test and work in accordance with company safety policies.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Assist with soil density testing as well as sampling and testing of concrete in accordance with ASTM and project specifications.
Prepare and submit written field reports summarizing daily activities/observations and density calculations and results.

Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
Demonstrated interest in Construction Materials Testing or related field and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
Must be 18 or older.
Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related, Master’s or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
