The Project Manager leads the project team through pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out phases, ensuring adherence to AP’s Incident and Injury Free culture, quality standards, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and maintaining project logs while facilitating collaborative processes among owners, designers, and subcontractors.

- Control project budgets, cost codes, cash flow, and monthly pay applications.
- Prepare and analyze project profitability reports and cost variance explanations.
- Facilitate weekly site progress meetings and generate accurate meeting minutes.
- Draft and review owner and subcontractor contract language and scope of work matrices.
- Apply value engineering, life‑cycle costing, and quality management programs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field (or an associate’s degree with additional experience) and have several years of experience managing multi‑million‑dollar projects. Proficiency with scheduling, cost‑control, and project management software, along with a strong safety background and OSHA 30 certification, is required.
- Travel as needed and work in varying climate conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field (or associate degree with additional experience).
- Minimum 6 years (or 8 years with associate) managing construction projects > $5 M.
- Proficiency with scheduling and cost control software (e.g., Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam).
- Strong understanding of value engineering, life‑cycle costing, and profit/cost processes.
- Experience with multiple contract types, CMR and Design‑Build delivery.
- Current or ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification and meet company safety standards.
- Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and ability to drive operational and financial accountability.
- Excellent written, oral, and listening communication skills for diverse audiences.
