Maintaining environmental regulatory compliance
Monitor regulatory compliance and legal risks, maintaining proactive communication with divisions to identify, escalate, and resolve issues.
Enable a culture of environmental responsibility by fostering awareness, best practices, and continuous improvement across all operational levels.
Coordinate incident management activities, including investigation, documentation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and shared learnings.
Interpret and communicate environmental regulations and policy changes, ensuring consistent understanding and compliance across divisions
Provide strategic and technical guidance to Mill site environmental resources related to:
Ensure timely and accurate completion of environmental reports, acting as the indirect responsible party for follow-up and issue resolution
In a collaborative fashion with both corporate and site resources, develop, communicate and implement Global Environmental Management System standards, procedures and guidance documents related to topics such as internal environmental audits, environmental contractor management, environmental business planning, environmental aspects, environmental reporting and environmental training.
