Senior Buyer

• Lead procurement activities for major projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of M&E materials and services.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
• Build strong supplier relationships across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvements.
• Manage RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and project teams to align specifications and schedules.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project and business objectives.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join our growing Procurement team in Dublin. This is a pivotal role where you’ll manage strategic sourcing and procurement for large-scale projects across Ireland and Europe. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience in international procurement and logistics.
• Knowledge of sustainable procurement and ESG considerations.
• 5+ years’ experience in a senior procurement role within the construction industry (M&E preferred).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical building systems.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
