The role is based in Redmond, WA and supports launch teams, the purchasing commodity team, manufacturing operations, and the quality department. It involves RFQ development, supplier negotiations, cost‑saving analysis, and administration of purchase orders and vendor master data within the ERP system while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and legal obligations.
- Support launch teams by developing RFQs, analyzing supplier quotes, negotiating statements of work, and conducting make‑vs‑buy assessments.
- Create sourcing recommendations with documented rationale and cost‑saving analyses.
- Identify and execute cost‑saving opportunities through spend analysis, supplier negotiations, and alternative purchasing methods.
- Contribute to commodity‑strategy initiatives, including minority‑business sourcing, supplier consolidation, and overall cost reduction.
- Resolve supplier issues for manufacturing operations and quality teams.
- Administer purchase orders and maintain vendor master data in the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, legal, and ethical standards, and flag contractual issues for legal review.

Candidates should hold a four‑year degree in purchasing, supply‑chain, business, materials, or a technical field, and have 3‑5 years of purchasing experience. Desired certifications include CPM or CPSM, strong analytical and financial skills, excellent negotiation and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with MS Office, Oracle, and SQL‑based tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, supply‑chain management, business, materials, or a technical discipline.
- 3–5 years of purchasing experience; CPM or CPSM certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, drive savings, and implement sourcing strategies.
- Strong multi‑tasking skills across multiple categories, projects, and business functions.
- Financial and quantitative analysis experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Oracle and SQL‑based applications advantageous.
- Organized, able to manage high‑volume interactions, and prioritize competing priorities.
