Production Associate - Multiple Shifts (REQ753)

Description

• Perform cleaning task of equipment and plant
• Accomplish the duties of the job utilizing safe work habits and maintaining a safe workplace
• Timely and accurate paperwork
• Record quality control information timely and accurately.
• Responsible to be productive and complete the assigned production order to completion accurately.
• Maintain equipment in the manufacturing area
• May be required to train other employees
• Hit quality targets to ensure a quality part is handed to the next operation.
• Operate forklifts as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Completion of duties in a timely and organized manner

Requirements

• Be a certified forklift driver as needed
• Must be able to read and understand shop orders
• Active participant in Kaizen and lean events
• Requires good hand/eye coordination and good vision
• Must be able to work a full schedule workweek and fulfill overtime requirements as needed
• Must possess above average math and reading skills
• Communicate with shift lead
• Must be conscious of all safety aspects affecting the manufacturing operations
• Requires the ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
