MEP Draftsman

Participate in BIM coordination meetings to update models and drawings.

• Update as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Provide clear drawings to site execution teams for accurate installation.
• Develop and update Revit models for coordination, clash detection, and quantity extraction.
• Ensure LOD (Level of Detail) compliance as per project requirements.
• Assist in preparing builders’ work drawings and penetration details.
• Develop 2D AutoCAD and 3D Revit drawings for mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting), electrical, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, and other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integrated drawings.
• Modify drawings based on engineer/consultant comments and resubmit for approval.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, consultant standards, and local authority codes (DEWA, DCD, etc.).
• Maintain version control and proper documentation of drawings.

We are looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in AutoCAD and Revit, have a strong understanding of MEP systems, and be capable of producing accurate, coordinated drawings to support seamless project execution.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of MEP Standard calculations (Hydraulic Head, External static head, domestic Pump sizing, sump pump sizing, cable tray sizing)
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, clash detection (Navisworks), and coordination processes.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in MEP drafting (at least 2–3 years in UAE/GCC preferred).
• Diploma / ITI in Drafting, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, DCD, DM, etc.).
• Knowledge of pipe sizing & duct sizing standards & requirements for plumbing & HVAC
• Ability to read and understand structural and architectural details and identify MEP services routes and requirements.
