Description
Create Engineering component and assembly drawings.
Produce load case diagrams and load case registers for input to finite element analysis activities.
Produce calculations for design verification (applying engineering theory / ability to work from first principles and in compliance with internal procedures, client requirements and industry standards).
Actively participate in Engineering meetings with internal and external parties and lead specific design reviews
Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others’ safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations
Create concept designs through sketches and 3D model files. Create new assembly configurations and product variants.
Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised.
Produce the required Engineering documentation then check for compliance with industry standards and Expro’s policies and procedures.
Conduct research to evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as appropriate
Liaise with other technical departments on work produced to ensure that any calculations and analysis is fit for purpose
Upload information to Engineering databases and proficient in the use of technical software packages
Record Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required
Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems and components using CAD Software.
