The Field Service Manager role, based at the Dartford Service Branch, leads a team of Lift & Escalator Engineers delivering planned preventative maintenance, addressing LOLER defects and managing call‑outs across the designated area. The position offers a pathway for experienced lift engineers to move into management while supporting the company’s focus on safety, innovation and customer service.
- Efficiently plan Lift and Escalator Engineers' workloads
- Manage team absence, performance, and conduct appraisals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements
- Carry out regular site monitoring
- Maintain customer relationships and resolve queries or complaints
- Maintain credit control logs and update CRM records

Working hours are Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:45 and Friday 08:00‑15:45, with travel throughout London required and a full UK driving licence mandatory. The role reports to the Lifts Distribution and Service – Maintenance and Repairs division and is a permanent, full‑time position.
- Previous experience in the lift and escalator industry or a comparable service sector
- NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Lift Engineering (desirable)
- Relevant technical or management qualifications are advantageous
