The Electric division foreman leads on‑site crews and acts as the single point of contact for construction projects, coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, safety initiatives, and customer expectations. This role ensures projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with KE’s standards of safety, people, passion, and performance.
Day‑to‑day duties include managing field crews and subcontractors on large commercial and industrial electrical installations, representing KE in customer walk‑throughs, coordinating deliveries and crew assignments, enforcing code compliance, and conducting daily safety tailgate meetings. The foreperson also tracks job progress, supports budget and timeline adherence, mentors team members, handles documentation and change orders, and collaborates with the Construction Manager to resolve issues.
Candidates must hold a Journeyman License and have at least five years of experience in a foreman or project lead capacity. They should possess strong knowledge of industrial electrical construction, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and experience with budget control and quality assurance. Excellent communication, leadership, and a team‑first mindset are essential, as is a willingness to travel regionally with overnight stays and a clean driver’s license.
The position requires the ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and remain on one’s feet for long periods, as well as to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Physical tasks include digging, back‑filling, manually moving materials, and lifting up to 80 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Compensation includes an hourly rate of $40‑$50, plus per diem, incentive opportunities, and weekly pay.
