The production of legal analysis report focusing on the description of the project and key risks, or assessment of any legal report prepared by external legal advisor, which is to be part of internal approval process in Ferrovial. General corporate housekeeping, such as preparing simple resolutions, filings, etc.
Comprehensive legal support throughout the lifecycle of projects from inception through operation, including drafting and negotiating a variety of renewable energy project related contracts, such as:
Management of claims and disputes.
Manage relationship with external advisers.
Legal advice on legislative and regulatory frameworks relevant to the projects including ringfencing aspects, as well as ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Offtake arrangements, PPAs, retail supply contracts and interconnection agreements.
Productivity tools: Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency.
Provide legal support to the business team for the day-to-day management of our pipeline and portfolio.
Analysis and advice on RFP and Project documentation (including the Project Deed, the Design and Construction Deed or EPC, interface agreements and other legal/commercial documents)
Effectively manage tasks and deadlines independently.

5+ years of experience in the renewable and/or conventional energy industry in a top tier law firm and/or in the legal department of a leading renewable energy company, infrastructure developer, financial advisor or asset manager with experience in large, complex infrastructure projects.
NSW Practicing certificate in good standing .
Experience in engaging with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), Transgrid and Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo).
Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure.
Computer proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. IA ability will be a plus.
Experience in construction contracts learins and real estate or right of way matters.
LLB /Juris Doctorate.
Excellent interpersonal communication, decision-making, project management and negotiating skills.
