The Technical Intern supports technical staff within an organizational function aligned with the intern’s field of study, performing basic engineering tasks. This role provides hands‑on experience in learning processes, contributing to projects, and maintaining engineering documentation.
Travel is minimal, with only 0‑5 % of time spent at job sites or office locations. The work environment is quiet and maintained at a low temperature, often requiring the intern to remain seated or standing for prolonged periods.
Physical demands are light, involving occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 20 lb and climbing stairs. Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers are common while assessing the accuracy and thoroughness of assigned work.
