- Oversee and monitor budget execution, obligation tracking, and funding allocations for research and development (R&D) and acquisition programs.
- Collaborate with procurement and administrative teams to align programmatic and fiscal priorities.
- Support program managers and contracting officers by preparing cost estimates, justifications, spend plans, and status reports.
- Provide expert-level financial management and analytical support to BARDA program offices.
- Review and validate financial data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting.
- Contribute to the planning and forecasting of program budgets and identify risks or areas for financial improvement.
- Assist with audit responses, internal financial controls, and preparation of annual or ad hoc financial deliverables.
- Develop, analyze, and reconcile financial reports, ensuring compliance with HHS, ASPR, and federal fiscal policies.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of federal fiscal law, funding mechanisms, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple funding lines and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
- 8+ years of experience in federal financial management, budget analysis, or grants/contracts accounting.
