Account Rep IV

Description

The Account Representative at RealPage is responsible for acquiring new customers and maintaining existing client relationships within an assigned geographic territory. The role includes meeting revenue goals, visiting management companies, attending client meetings and industry events, and engaging with executive management.

• Prospect, qualify, and close new sales, including follow‑up on implementations.
• Generate new and add‑on sales revenue within assigned territory or named accounts.
• Research and identify new opportunities weekly; build and manage an accurate sales funnel.
• Strategically target regional territory to close new business and grow existing accounts.
• Sell solutions using a consultative, value‑based approach and create ROI for prospects.
• Maintain high activity volume: outbound calls, emails, and social selling.
• Deliver web‑based presentations in partnership with Sales Engineers.
• Engage VP and C‑Suite executives, navigating multiple decision‑makers in complex organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or 4 years relevant sales experience.
• Minimum 6 years of field or inside sales experience with a record of exceeding quotas.
• Proven success selling software products or services using value‑based/consultative selling.
• Ability to identify, qualify, prioritize prospects and present solutions to large groups.
• Strong communication skills and technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
• Desired certifications with real‑estate associations (IREM, NAA) and experience with industry meetings and trade shows.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, capable of managing geographic territory and field travel up to 40 % (including overnight and weekends).
