Delivery Assurance Associate (3 Month Project)

Description

• Provide supply chain management and production planning support at OEM sites.
• Observe, gather, and analyze part and process data to resolve engineering questions and non‑conformances.
• Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, shop‑floor WIP, and non‑conformances against delivery commitments; estimate and revise dates.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct gap analysis, devise mitigation plans, and track action items to closure.
• Develop positive, customer‑facing relationships with engineers, buyers, and program managers at OEM and supplier levels.
• Execute part transition planning, implementation, and verification activities.
• Document, summarize, and report information according to requirements.
• Create and improve work instructions to embed best practices and ensure repeatability.

Requirements

The position is onsite in Bloomfield, East Hartford, Milford, and Rocky Hill, CT, requiring personal transportation, ability to navigate a shop‑floor environment, lift up to 40 lb, and travel to all locations as needed. U.S. citizenship is required. Compensation ranges from $28.85 to $30.29 per hour, based on experience and other factors, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

• Experience in supply chain management, production planning, quality, or operations.
• Shop‑floor experience preferred.
• Strong relationship‑building and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to clearly communicate shortage status to both operational and executive audiences.
