The role involves handling maintenance requests, carrying out general repairs, painting, plumbing and basic electrical work, supporting preventative maintenance, maintaining presentation standards, recording tasks and safety checks, coordinating contractors, assisting residents, and joining an on‑call roster for after‑hours support.
Candidates need practical know‑how and a positive attitude; prior experience in maintenance, facilities or trades is helpful but not mandatory. A trade qualification is a bonus. Ability to lift 12 kg, climb ladders, follow safety basics, communicate well and pass background checks is required.
