Prepare technical reports, figures, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Assist in conducting traffic impact studies, signal warrant analyses, and corridor evaluations
Conduct field visits and site assessments as needed
Designs and develops traffic signal plans including signal layouts, phasing, timing, and coordination to ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to support project delivery
Support the development of traffic models using tools such as Synchro, HCS, and VISSIM
Collect, process, and analyze traffic data including volume counts, speed studies, and crash data

Ability to build strong relationships
Internship or academic project experience involving FDOT standards or Florida-based transportation projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2+ yrs experience with traffic engineering principles and software.
Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic GIS tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
Exposure to FDOT’s Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM) or Plans Preparation Manual (PPM) is a plus.
Engineer Intern (EI) certification required or in progress.
