This role provides a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to split time between the office and remote locations. As a member of the mechanical design team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design groups to develop mechanical physical layout drawings within a 3‑D model.
You will tackle challenging assignments that involve designing mechanical systems, troubleshooting issues, and generating design schematics using 3‑D modeling software. The position also includes coordinating detailed design phases, supporting fellow designers, and delivering comprehensive mechanical documentation such as general arrangement and piping drawings.
The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in drafting or equivalent technical experience, complemented by six or more years of detailed mechanical design work on general arrangements, piping systems, and supports. Proficiency with CADWorx Plant, PID, and AutoCAD Plant 3D is required, and the ability to interface with other engineering disciplines throughout the power plant design process is essential.

The compensation range for this position is $58,930 to $87,460, and the total package may include a discretionary annual bonus alongside the comprehensive benefits described.
