Tracks the purchasing, shipping/transporting, receiving and usage of inventory and equipment for test labs, field engineering, and business unit projects.
General hardware assembly, firmware/OS flashing, and deployment of systems to test benches or racks.
Normally receives general instructions on most work.
Assist with shipping/receiving and entering new hardware into inventory systems
Collaborates with individuals inside and outside of own function to troubleshoot and perform moderately complex repair work, rework, removal, and modifications to equipment as necessary.
May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are semi routine in nature.
Independently sets up and maintains benches, testers, and other equipment. Transports, installs, upgrades, and configures complex equipment and components.
Executes manual and automated test plans and provides input on test cases and test procedures. Reproduces and debugs complex issues. Documents changes to processes or SOP.
Sets up test equipment using hand tools or automatic test methods to perform complex tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Guides others and documents test results, KPIs, and other outcomes, and maintains malfunction records.
