What you would be doing

  • Perform plant tasks as assigned
  • Assist QC Manager with all tasks including collecting aggregate samples from Yard, lab work, worksite duties, observe testing techniques on-site, be able to direct concrete trucks on site according to a laid out plan, inputting data from testing, etc.
  • Carry-out and practice all safety practices per MSHA/company rules and regulations
  • Learn about other CalPortland departments and interface as required
  • Attend summer intern event at corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, NV

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
