Ten (10) years of relevant experience in the HVAC/R area.
Must be flexible and perform well in a team environment under pressure, with multiple projects and deadlines.
Must have proven analytical skills and technical experience in interpretation of technical requirements within the assigned area of responsibility.
Strong training skills must be evident since training of staff and passing along knowledge and experiences are critical elements of this position.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are necessary.
Must have exceptional interpersonal, communication (both written and oral), and presentation skills to make complex ideas and concepts sound simple.
Strong leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization in a collaborative fashion and constructively manage conflict.

Experience in standards development activities.
Must have in-depth knowledge about electrical safety standards and codes in the HVAC/R product area (examples: IEC/UL/CSA 60335-2-40, 60335-2-34, 60335-2-80, 60335-2-89, 60335-2-24, ANSI/ASHRAE 15, CSA B52, CSA C22.2 No. 113, UL 507, etc.).
University degree in a relevant discipline of engineering and professional registration is preferable.
