Push the boundaries of conventional design detailing with a deep understanding of the needs of the end user (i.e., consumers, tenants and the community)
Provide technical support to the designer, specifications, and contract administration team as required
Coordinate models and drawings with the project team using cloud-based software
Resolve complex design and technical issues with senior team guidance and design team support
Implement practice goals and objectives through leadership, coaching, and mentoring of the architectural team members
Work closely with our design team, project managers, job captains, specifications team, and others to support design development of projects as well as plan and prepare construction documents and support permit applications
Promote team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural team

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps such as Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, etc
You have experience working on a production team for various scales of projects, including complex projects (>$100 million construction value) with minimal supervision, including discipline coordination
You have earned a diploma in Architectural or Building Technology, other avenues of training will also be considered
You are knowledgeable of building codes, building construction systems, engineering systems, building materials and specifications is required
Certified LEED project experience
You are proficient with Revit
On-site contract administration experience
Build architectural BIM models, with a strong focus on the construction phase, also with knowledge in Concept/Schematic Design and all subsequent design and development stages
Adobe Suite and other visualization software experience
You possess excellent visual/graphic, written, and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration
You have 5-10 years of progressive experience as an architectural technologist
