Virginia Driver’s License in good standing

Required VDOT/Industry Training
Knowledge of performing roadway maintenance and construction activities.
Drug Screening will be conducted prior to employment.
Potential for significant periods of sitting or standing.
Knowledge of equipment operation and performing preventative maintenance.
18 years of age or older
Demonstrates experience in equipment operations comparable to that used in highway maintenance/construction activities.
Ability to work in inclement weather and to respond to accidents, and emergency/disaster response, etc. during/after normal work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
High School Diploma or GED.
CDL preferred but NOT required.
Occasional interaction with the public/media.
