Read and interpret moderately complex blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and job orders to determine appropriate welding processes.
Robotic Welders: Operate and program robotic welding equipment. Set up robotic welding systems for production runs. Monitor robotic welding operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with robotic welding equipment.
Maintain welding equipment in good working condition.
Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.
Move materials, parts, equipment and other items using material handling equipment (ie. Lifts, hoists, hand trucks. etc) ensuring safety practices are diligently followed.
Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformity with specifications. Deburr pieces to create appropriate welding services when necessary.
Participate in and identify continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes.
Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic (robotic) welding equipment including MIG and TIG welding, including turntable MIG.
Execute moderately complex welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material such as stainless steel.
Pushing: Occasional pushing of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs.
Record and report production data accurately and timely.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
Ensure welding is completed to the required standards and specifications.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve production goals.

3-4 years of demonstrated experience in a welding role in a manufacturing, automotive, or related environment.
High School diploma.
Understanding of welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Sound understanding of the properties and characteristics of metals used in welding.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
