Industrial Placement - Transport & Mobility

Description

• Assist in the documentation of transport strategies and designs in reports and presentations
• Participate in project meetings, under the guidance of senior staff
• Perform geospatial analysis and visualization using GIS
• Provide graphic design and editing for reports, memos, and presentations
• Contribute to the preparation of transport and mobility strategies and designs for a wide range of projects
• Carry out research and organize results in a clear and coherent manner
• Undertake transport calculations and input to transport modelling
• Assist with business development functions

Requirements

• Comfortable executing project deliverables within a given timeframe
• Graphic skills are desirable, and experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred
• Possessing initiative and able to thrive in a team environment
• Comfortable undertaking numerical analysis
• Able to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner, verbally and in writing
• Able to research, filter and compile information on a range of topics for multiple audience types
• Urban Design, Urban Planning
• Ideally familiar with using GIS software to analyse and visualize geospatial data
• Currently pursuing a degree in a transport related subject such as;
