The Regional Project Manager plans and directs all onsite activities at client locations related to the storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous wastes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role manages onsite personnel, serves as a liaison between clients and vendors, and maintains safety and environmental standards. Travel up to 25 % of the time is required, and while the position is remote, the individual must reside in the Midwest or Southern United States.
- Coordinate logistics for hazardous and non‑hazardous waste transportation, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading.
- Consult with clients to design and implement cost‑saving proposals.
- Ensure compliance with client and government regulations through inspections and reporting.
- Resolve service issues promptly.
- Administer client and vendor financial obligations such as invoicing, reporting, and contracts.
- Promote safety culture by training site personnel on safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform occasional labor‑intensive tasks like drum collection and bulking.

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, accounting, business or related field, or equivalent experience with high school diploma and 4 years relevant work.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience plus required certifications (HAZWOPER, OSHA 24‑hour, RCRA and DOT compliance) and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre‑assignment or pre‑hire drug/alcohol testing as required by customer contracts.
- Experience with profit‑and‑loss budgeting and project management.
- Strong customer service, vendor management, and supervisory skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
- Effective communication, decisive decision‑making, and leadership abilities.
- Solid business acumen, financial knowledge, and self‑motivation.
