Preconstruction Manager

Description

• Maintain all estimate documentation to support cost figures
• Review drawings, specifications, and attend pre-bid meetings to define project scope
• Track awarded contracts and assist with pricing change orders and extra work items
• Participate in proposal presentations and project handoff meetings
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for assigned projects
• Develop and submit formal proposals and bids
• Request and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Support other preconstruction and estimating team members as needed
• Produce and distribute preconstruction RFIs as required

Requirements

• Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to visualize project construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to prepare accurate estimates with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Previous preconstruction or estimating experience preferred but not required
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute beyond standard work hours
