The core purpose of the position is to support the delivery of a high‑quality reporting and compliance service, ensuring outputs are produced on schedule and in line with accounting standards and tax legislation.
Key responsibilities include assisting with statutory reporting, tax processes and internal financial controls while analysing and manipulating data to meet deadlines. You will also provide clear written and verbal communication and deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant – Reporting & Compliance to join the Guinness Team. The role is full‑time (35 hours per week), permanent and based in either Oldham, Bower House or London (Euston Road) with a hybrid working model.
The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to build strong relationships across the organisation. You should thrive in collaborative environments, demonstrate grit to meet targets and be willing to go the extra mile.
We require a solid grounding in accounting fundamentals, strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office. A part‑qualified CCAB/CIMA qualification (e.g., ACCA Applied Skills, ACA professional level or CIMA Management Level) is essential, and experience with Oracle Financials, VAT/CIS returns or project management is desirable.
