• Deliver excellence in concept, quality, and project delivery.
• Foster interdisciplinary teamwork and open collaboration toward common goals.
• Drive innovation and transformative contributions to the profession and community.
• Lead proposal preparation, including outlines, schedules, content, and consultant selection.
• Develop client interview strategy, create marketing collateral, and manage interview process.
• Collaborate with leadership to create strategic marketing materials.
• Conduct market, lead, and potential client research.
• Develop pursuit and market strategies, identifying competitive advantages.
• Create and implement business plans within focus areas.
• Manage Salesforce pipeline, ensuring data accuracy and tracking plan execution.
• Build expertise in SOM’s A/E/I services, focusing on geographic or functional markets.
• Train Marketing Coordinators and Senior Marketing Coordinators.
• Represent SOM in client and professional organizations, nurturing new business leads.
• Work effectively with senior leaders across the firm.

Requirements

• Hold a four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Have 5+ years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Possess strong writing and graphic design abilities.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills.
• Be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM; OpenAsset is a plus.
• Adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
