Draftsman

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The role involves assisting in the preparation of accurate technical drawings for civil, construction, residential, and landscaping projects. The Junior Draftsman will support engineers, architects, and project teams by translating design concepts into drawings, maintaining documentation, and learning industry standards and best practices.

• Ensure drawings follow company standards and comply with relevant codes with supervision.
• Provide drafting-related support to the technical team and collaborate with multidisciplinary departments.
• Maintain proper drawing records, files, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support in conducting site visits to collect measurements and verify dimensions when required.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material take-offs.
• Assist in translating design sketches and specifications into accurate construction drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to update drawings and resolve minor discrepancies.
• Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software under the guidance of senior staff.

• Ability to interpret design sketches and specifications with supervision.
• Diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Good communication and coordination skills with team members.
• 2-5 years of drafting experience in civil, construction, residential, or landscaping projects (internship or training experience acceptable).
• Time management skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn construction detailing, building systems, and site coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, Revit, or other design software is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to work well in a team while also developing independence over time.
• Working proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D is a plus).
