Knowledge and understanding of the Company’s Safety and Health Program, applicable Regulatory Standards and EM 385-1-1
Understanding of site specific project safety requirements
Computer skills, i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel, and Windows
A bachelor’s degree in safety, Health, and Environmental Applied Sciences and a minimum of 2 years of Safety related experience including health and safety management systems, auditing safety processes, and in-depth knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing Safety in the workplace
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously meeting established deadlines
CHST, CSP, or ASP certification is preferred
Ability to train others (individual and groups)
OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, OSHA 40hr training, and OSHA 500 certification is required
Thorough knowledge of OSHA Construction and State Regulations
