The Habitat ReStore Manager oversees all day‑to‑day operations of the ReStore, ensuring a seamless donor‑to‑customer experience while advancing GMHFH’s mission in the community. This role directs store schedules, assets, and staff development to meet financial and service goals.
Key duties include managing financial records, budgeting, and reporting sales and expenses, as well as handling the intake, processing, merchandising, and disposal of donated items. The manager also coordinates special pickups, maintains a clean and safe environment, and cultivates relationships with donors and community partners to expand merchandise quality and quantity.
Leadership of staff and volunteers is central, involving hiring, training, cross‑training, scheduling, performance feedback, and conflict resolution. The manager communicates performance metrics, promotes the organization’s mission, and works with the Volunteer Coordinator to grow and retain a robust volunteer workforce.
