In this role you will provide strategic leadership and expert oversight for multiple high‑impact cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with the CISO’s mission and the organisation’s strategic objectives and risk management framework.
You will manage a broad portfolio that spans regulatory and enterprise systems, operational technology, and customer technology, ensuring cyber‑resilience investments, technology upgrades and compliance initiatives are delivered on schedule, within budget and with measurable impact.
You will lead end‑to‑end project delivery, develop clear plans, timelines and budgets, and empower teams while optimising resources to meet scope, time and budget constraints, collaborating with internal and external program delivery areas.
You will produce executive‑level roadmaps and reporting on financials, project status and resources, highlighting achievements, risks and improvement areas for Cyber Directors and the CISO, and work closely with stakeholders and PMOE to embed cybersecurity objectives throughout project lifecycles.
We are seeking a highly skilled cyber leader with extensive experience managing large‑scale cybersecurity programs, strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks, and proven ability to engage executives, technology teams, vendors and partners. Experience with agile methodologies, automation and emerging technologies is essential, as is meeting Australian Government security vetting requirements and holding a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Project Management or equivalent senior‑level experience.
The position is a permanent, full‑time Transport Senior Service Executive (1B) based in Macquarie Park, offering hybrid work arrangements in line with Transport’s policies.
