The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves completing resident work orders, conducting inspections, preparing vacant units, managing inventory, documenting activities, assisting with grounds upkeep and supporting cost‑cutting initiatives while adhering to safety protocols. The position participates in a rotating on‑call schedule that includes weekend, evening and morning availability.
Qualified candidates must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and follow safety codes. They should demonstrate thoroughness in pre‑move‑out inspections, work orders, inventory management, vendor coordination and documentation, and communicate effectively with management, residents, vendors and contractors. Required credentials include EPA Type I/II or Universal certification (or willingness to obtain), a valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart, and a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience.
