Preferred certifications: BICSI RCDD, Avixa CTS or CTSD, ASIS PSP
Associates degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology program, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering required. 5 years’ experience will be considered in lieu of degree;
Fundamental understanding of insideplant (ISP) and outsideplant (OSP) telecommunications design;
Thoroughness in design coordination and contract document development;
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a multioffice technology systems group;
Travel for this position anticipated < 5% for crossoffice collaboration and onsite client engagement.
RCDD required;
At least 10 years of experience in the installation and maintenance or design and specification of Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V) preferably supporting projects for clients in such building sectors as government, healthcare, higher education, science & technology;
