- Maintains location(s) inventory list by allocating inventory to individual jobs and tracking inventory changes using a scanner, computer and/or inventory system software.
- Aids in holding employees and subcontractors accountable to appropriate documentation of inventory as it is taken and returned to designated yards/warehouses.
- Acts as backup to other project personnel (either within the same project or assisting with other projects) as directed;
- Operate a computer, telephone or other office equipment
- Receives new material shipments and verifies order content and completeness.
- Develops, maintains and updates project documentation;
- Responsible for the material purchasing process including issuing POs, determining appropriate timing of material orders (ensuring best price while meeting job needs), and purchase tracking (ensuring in-time delivery).
- Supports all company policies, procedures and initiatives related to project success;
- Participates in any required continuous training;
- Orders and coordinates project supplies to arrive on time and at the correct location.
- Manages inventory for specific jobs by communicating with Supervisors and staging materials from each job’s pick list.
- Develops and creates reporting for Min/Max levels, material demand, forecast and budget purposes.
- Communicates inventory needs to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Performs various program tasks as assigned by project leadership;
- Occasionally stand and/or walk
- Develops and maintains effective and complete project files (physical and/or electronic);

- Familiarity with Inventory tracking systems and hardware.
- Frequent use of sight (specifically, close to perform computer work), hearing and voice
- Experience with basic computer software systems including but not limited to Database, Internet, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, e-mail and PDF creation; Google and excel application experience is strongly preferred;
- Strong written and verbal communication;
- Associates degree in an industry related field or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure and using whole numbers, fractions and decimals;
- Light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs)
- Occasionally bend, squat, kneel or twist
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance;
- Use of hands, arms, and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- Ability to read and comprehend various written and data driven correspondence including but not limited to production reports, project work orders, prints, etc;
- Moderate noise consistent with computers, phones and printers
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
