Internal Legal Support: Provide legal advice and guidance to various departments within the company regarding regulatory compliance, risk management, and other legal matters.
Compliance Monitoring: Assist in maintaining the company’s compliance with relevant industry laws and standards, including preparing necessary documentation for audits or regulatory reviews.
Liaise with External Counsel: Act as a primary point of contact for coordinating with external law firms and legal professionals to handle complex legal matters and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Document Review and Management: Review, organize, and manage internal legal documents, ensuring all contracts, agreements, and company policies are up to date and legally compliant.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support internal teams on various legal queries and ensure Basel Capital is in compliance with local and international regulations.

Basel Capital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Specialist to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing legal support and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position will involve coordinating with external legal counsel and managing internal document review and audits.

Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management software
Fluent in English (additional language proficiency is a plus)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the financial or investment industry
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent)
Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and compliance regulations
