The Social Media Intern is a key member of the Marketing Department, developing, creating, scheduling, and executing social media content and digital marketing initiatives for the company's brands. Exceptional communication skills are essential because the role interacts with all internal departments and external customers. The position supports social media needs for Crawford Hoying, North Market Bridge Park, signature events, lifestyle brands, and property accounts. Candidates progressing will be asked to provide a portfolio.

• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term social media strategies and campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Manage online reputation by responding on platforms such as Google Business, Reputation, Sprout Social, and Social Accounts.
• Engage community through commenting, tagging, and resharing.
• Ensure consistent brand voice across all social and digital channels in the Crawford Hoying portfolio.
• Create, review, schedule, and publish content on all social media platforms.
• Measure campaign success by capturing data, tracking metrics, refining future efforts, and reporting results.
• Support social media workflow, including monthly asset compilation, playbook training, and content calendars.
• Stay informed of current social and digital marketing best practices and technology.
• Build relationships with industry influencers to strengthen the support network.
• Assist team members with other marketing initiatives.
• Respond professionally and promptly to communications.
• Engage face‑forward with internal and external customers.
• Apply creative, out‑of‑the‑box thinking to build brand awareness and engagement.

Requirements

Physical Requirements: The role requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 lb, as well as a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for work‑related travel.

• Exhibit willingness to take on projects and learn new concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Minimum 1 year of social media management experience in a professional setting, coursework, internship, or student organization.
• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and design tools.
• Experience with InDesign, Canva, and social media scheduling platforms (preferred).
• Skills in photography, Reels, or video editing.
• Fluent with major social media platforms and user engagement.
• Eager to learn social listening and sentiment analysis for strategy.
• Understanding or willingness to learn paid digital media spending and opportunities.
• Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Good visual eye with photography capabilities.
• Keen awareness of current trends and key influencers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
