As a member of the facilities team you will be the backbone of operations, ensuring world‑class building performance through expert maintenance and repair of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life‑safety systems. This role offers diverse challenges ranging from strategic preventative maintenance to critical emergency response while managing vendor relationships and inventory systems.
- Master diverse building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BAS, fire safety, lighting) through hands‑on maintenance, monitoring and repairs
- Lead preventative maintenance by cleaning, inspecting, calibrating and replacing critical equipment components
- Serve as first responder to facility emergencies and service requests
- Execute electrical and mechanical repairs, including lighting, ballasts, fixtures, motors, pumps and plumbing infrastructure
- Drive operational excellence with detailed maintenance reporting, precise record‑keeping and strategic equipment inventory management
- Partner with vendors to optimize quality, pricing and service delivery across facility operations
- Monitor system performance via equipment readings and proactive adjustments to maximize efficiency
- Ensure accurate parts procurement and maintain comprehensive tool and instrument inventories
- Champion safety excellence through proper hazardous‑materials storage, usage and disposal protocols

The position is a 3rd‑shift/night shift role with 24/7 on‑call emergency response. Salary is estimated between $66,560 and $87,360 per year and varies based on education, experience, skills, location and internal equity. The job is on‑site in Malvern, PA and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- High School diploma or GED with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC
- Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs (or obtain within 90 days of employment)
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
- Ability to analyze system operations, diagnose problems and implement corrective actions
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Self‑motivated team player with hands‑on mechanical inclination
- Comprehensive understanding of safety and environmental protocols
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to various tasks
- Experience with vendor management and inventory control systems
