The Ecology Survey Lead will coordinate and lead field‑based ecology surveys, including baseline assessments, monitoring programs, and targeted flora and weed evaluations across diverse bioregions. You will manage ecological projects, support multidisciplinary tenders, and ensure high‑quality technical delivery. The role also involves planning, executing, and analysing surveys, performing impact assessments, and designing mitigation strategies.
We seek candidates with a degree in environmental science, ecology, biology or a related field and 7‑10+ years of professional experience in botanical surveys and ecological consulting. Strong field skills across mining, remote, and metropolitan sites, proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS, Fieldmaps), and a WA driver's licence are essential. Knowledge of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation is also required.
