Sr. Project Director

Description

• Ensure workforce training, development, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Work with CFO and CEO to develop and manage P &L for division
• Lead production activities, including scheduling, workflow management, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Manage & execute, change orders and project documentation.
• Work with our Engineering and Procurement centralized teams (based in our South Carolina Headquarters) to support all projects.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement lean practices to improve entire project lifecycle.
• Act as a key liaison with clients and other departments, ensuring project requirements are understood and met.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track production efficiency, project success, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize output.
• Support innovation and adoption of new technologies in modular container construction.
• Supervise and mentor production leaders and support staff.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee all aspects of modular container construction projects from inception through completion.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in modular construction, container fabrication, prefabrication, or related industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of modular/container-based construction methods, codes, and production processes.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in project management and familiarity with ERP/MRP software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, SAP, or similar).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
