Operating and maintaining the sand washing plants
Assisting the Production team with reservoir and tank cleaning
Operating specialist mobile plant including skimmers, loading shovels, forklifts, dumpers and excavators
The completion of reactive and planned grounds and general maintenance work across SWW assets including, but not limited to: Grass Cutting, Hedge Trimming, Pathway repairs, and maintenance, Cover repairs and replacements, Roof gutter repairs and maintenance, painting and decoration, Minor/ interim/temporary tank repairs and periodic cleaning of water treatment process tanks – e.g. clarifier cleaning
Ensuring that all activities enhance the reputation and image of the company
Raking and shovelling weed from slow sand filters
Performing daily water quality checks on the slow sand filters
Assisting the Production team with valve operations
Ensuring all work is carried out with due consideration of health and safety and in accordance with Safe Systems of Work
Site housekeeping, including road sweeping, drain clearing, grass cutting and hedge trimming activities
