We are seeking a Building Operator to ensure our building is managed and maintained in a safe, presentable, and environmentally friendly manner. The role supports daily operations, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction.
- Control and monitor base building equipment (chillers, pumps, air‑handling systems) and assist contractors with tasks and quotations.
- Perform water treatment chemical testing, critical system testing, and support energy‑management practices for mechanical and ventilation systems.
- Produce tour and inspection reports and support WHMIS and environmental health and safety programs.
- Ensure cleanliness, conduct scheduled preventive maintenance via Angus PM, and handle demand repairs of fans, pumps, etc.
- Enforce Corporate OH&S, environmental, sustainability, and property‑management policies.
- Track and schedule compliance testing, manage tenant work orders in Angus TR, and maintain operator logs, checklists, and inspections.

- Minimum 2 years commercial property‑management operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BAS and life‑safety systems.
- 5th‑class power engineering licence or BES certifications.
- Valid driver’s licence and collaborative, team‑oriented attitude.
- Hands‑on mechanical/electrical expertise with strong troubleshooting skills.
Benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $50,200 to $75,300 annually, plus variable compensation such as bonuses and commissions. Compensation details are discussed during the recruitment process.
