Project Accountant

Description

• Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing
• Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
• Coordinate and pursue receivables
• Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition
• Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis
• Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system

Requirements

• Experience using computerized accounting systems
• Public sector accounting experience
• High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
• 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
