

WSP provides engineering, design, and consulting services across diverse sectors worldwide.
The intern will support the team by executing initiatives such as preparing case studies, drafting proposal content, conducting trend research and analysis, and assisting with staff and client presentations. The Future Ready® program is structured around three pillars: seeing the future more clearly, developing complete long‑term solutions, and challenging the status quo.
Typical daily activities include researching topics related to societal, resource, climate, and technology changes; creating internal and external materials like proposals, reports, publications, workshops, and presentations; liaising with the Future Ready® team and coordinating with project managers and technical leads to gather case‑study information; promoting the program to internal stakeholders; and collaborating across WSP’s business sectors to identify engagement opportunities. Additional duties may involve developing guides, templates, and delivery resources, as well as supporting client‑related research and market analysis.
Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as change management, engineering, urban planning, political science, sustainability, climate change, or management. Strong analytical, research, writing, creative problem‑solving, and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Office and other communication software, exceptional time‑management, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred qualifications include prior co‑op or summer work experience in consulting, project delivery, sustainability, or resilience; experience facilitating engagement or university events; involvement with publications or research; and bilingual ability in English and French.
