  • Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmissions and differentials.
  • Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, ignition and electronic fuel injection
  • Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaces parts
  • Work on unique Defence vehicle and assets
  • Inspect vehicles and issue road worthiness certificate
  • Conduct Maintenance tasks, including technical inspection and classification
  • Carry out minor body repairs and minor trim repairs

  • Must possess a current Australian State or Territory class HR Driver's License or be willing to obtain one.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
  • All tools, PPE and Uniforms provided
  • Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level
  • Demonstrated experience to inspect, repair and maintain Light, Medium and Heavy vehicles
