The Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist manages billing and collections for the company's customers, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing. Duties listed represent the general scope of work, with additional tasks assigned as business needs arise.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers according to contract terms and billing schedules.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and overdue accounts.
- Apply payments received from customers to the appropriate invoices and accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and verify the accuracy of balances and transactions.
- Maintain customer records and update contact information, payment terms, and billing preferences.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve billing and collection issues or disputes.
- Generate and analyze reports on accounts receivable status and performance.
- Assist with month‑end closing and audit procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and juggle multiple assignments.
- Experience in the construction industry or related field (preferred).
