Description

Nautilus Solar Energy’s (NSE) Accounting Intern will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling account information for Nautilus. This hybrid full-time position reports to the Accounting Manager and will be in the office two days a week.

The intern will assist with general ledger processing, preparing and entering month‑end and other journal entries, and preparing work papers and reports for internal accounting and audits. They will ensure the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies, contribute to special projects, review and reconcile accounts, maintain updated records of invoices and receipts, and perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting department.

Requirements

Candidates should be pursuing a college degree or have relevant experience, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have an interest in renewable energy. The role requires the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented entrepreneurial environment, strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities, proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the capacity to prioritize, multitask, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
